We are leaving Texas in July. Moving to our dream home in Iowa.
Selling our current home in Texas has meant many trips to Lowe's.
Not to mention hours and hours of hard labor in a yard that hadn't been touched for 3 years (truth!) Several entertaining songs about working were created by the toilers. Including Daniel's epic tune, which goes: "keep on weeding, keep on going, keep on working til you die...!" Yep, that's how bad it was, fellows.
Our yard is full of critters...
...some cuter than others...though, that green lizard with the blue eye shadow is a stunner.
I am sure there are things I will miss about living in Texas.
But...
We are still young. We are in love. And there are new adventures awaiting us...and yeah, these are my gardening shoes. Sparkly zebra flats. You didn't expect anything less, did you?
