I came across Kate Thomas of Little Things Studio a while back and was immediately enchanted with her work. Anyone who makes use of such amazing colors and designs paired with quotes from "Anne of Green Gables" is a kindred spirit in my book. Her Etsy shop is filled with lovely quotes and inspired designs.
Then I read her story and was completely moved. Kate Thomas bravely followed her heart and left a less than stellar, but stable position at a bank to go back to school for graphic design, though she had not taken an art class since she was in elementary school. Kate believes that life is too short to spend it being miserable, and I wholeheartedly agree. As someone who left her job, city, and relationship all in one day two years ago in search of true happiness, I can totally relate.
I hope you enjoy my favorite selections from Kate's shop. This first one says it all for me! Thank you Kate for allowing me to feature you here on my humble blog!
If I can only own one piece from Little Things Studio, it would have to be this collection called "American Quilts." Beautiful and full of warm, happy feelings. I think these would frame up nicely and look fabulous in our new home!
Stunning!
What would you do and who would you be if you decided to fight for your own happiness?
xoxo,
Ashley
