So between house-selling, house-buying, running two really small businesses on my own, going into the studio to help my fiancee work on his new CD, and counting the days until the wedding (8) and the things I need to get done between now and then (372), it's been a pretty full day.
On the other hand, today was good. I laughed a ton (as usual), mostly thanks to the hilarious people at the recording studio, including our good friend, Guthrie Kennard. Oh, and I got to eat Indian food, which could make almost any day great. I also re-learned something I already knew, but it was a good refresher: Never despair the people you aren't keeping the attention(s) of, just be thankful for the ones who do show up to say "hey, great glocktopus picture, Ashley." :-D
Yes, I drew this. Yes, I am weird. However, apparently I'm not the first to have thought of this...scary, I know. |
Anyway, here is photographic documentation of my day in 5 photos or less.
1. strawberries for breakfast; shot with SuperPopCam for iPhone
2. recording studio stuff
3. the incomparable Guthrie Kennard, a great friend and great artist who consistently shows up to support Thom and I in our endeavors (really appreciated, Guthrie we love you!)
4. the wallpaper in the bathroom of Eagle Audio Recording Studio in all its glory
5. drive-by photo of some old school stores I like the look of: Food M Store and EZ TV rental; shot with VSCO Cam, which is fast becoming my favorite camera app
I'm going to go eat red velvet ice cream now and watch Anne of Green Gables with someone who loves me...a heck of a lot.
Cheers,
Ashley
