On 5.11.12 Thomas and I got married! It was the most perfect and fun day of our lives. I could not have asked for a better wedding. Though it rained, the sun came out just as the ceremony began. Pictured here from top left to bottom: Me holding the ivory rose from Thom's boutonniere (my tattoo says "j'adore," which is French for "I adore."); The beautiful antique Victorian heart-shaped locked that was a wedding gift from my Mother. It was made the year our new home was built (1878); Some of the white/violet orchids from my wedding bouquet; Thom's boutonniere, made of an ivory rose, foliage, and crimson berries; My handmade reception headband, purchased from Etsy; My maid of honor's bouquet, which I put together 2 hours before the wedding (!) The feathery looking flowers are evidently some type of exotic/tropical South African protea, but I call them "flamingo flowers."
More photos to come, as I have time. Tomorrow we leave for our honeymoon in San Antonio, Texas...exciting!
